Position Overview

As a Staff – Commercial Excellence (Reporting) at EY, you will play a key role in supporting the business through utilisation and revenue reporting. This position focuses on generating actionable insights, analysing financial performance, and providing data-driven recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making. You will be part of a high-performing team that delivers accurate, timely reporting while fostering collaboration across service lines and regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly, fortnightly, and monthly utilisation analyses at Service Line, office, and regional levels.

  • Conduct Actual vs Plan performance reviews and prepare month-to-go and year-to-go forecasts.

  • Provide meaningful commentaries and act as a trusted business advisor to the leadership team.

  • Prepare and present sales and pipeline reports with detailed performance insights.

  • Design and enhance visuals, graphs, and dashboards for management presentations.

  • Collaborate with offices and regional teams to gather data, explanations, and feedback.

  • Monitor and review engagement/project financials for accuracy and compliance.

  • Support ad-hoc analytical projects and reporting automation initiatives.

Skills and Attributes for Success

  • Advanced MS Excel skills with proficiency in PowerPoint and working knowledge of Power BI.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight timelines.

  • Collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail.

  • High sense of ownership and accountability.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 4–6 years of experience in utilisation reporting, management reporting, or financial analysis.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • An MBA in Finance.

  • Experience in resource & capacity operations and project management.
