Record to Report Operations Associate

Position Overview

As a Record to Report Operations Associate, you will be part of Accenture’s Finance Operations vertical, supporting clients in achieving financial accuracy and efficiency. Your role involves reconciling accounts, analyzing data, posting journal entries, and preparing financial statements to ensure smooth month-end closures and audit readiness.

You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial records and supporting the overall accounting cycle within the Record to Report (R2R) process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform account reconciliations, journal postings, and general ledger maintenance.

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in cash forecasting.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by reviewing and validating entries.

• Analyze operational and financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.

• Prepare financial and management reports and assist in internal/external audits.

• Collaborate with team members to meet performance goals and deliverables.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

• Work effectively within a rotational shift environment to support global operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Qualification: Any Graduation (Commerce background preferred).

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Record to Report or Account Reconciliations.

• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.

• Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team setting.

• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
