Financial Analyst

Position Overview:

As a Financial Analyst at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure financial software products meet high-quality standards.
• Work closely with the development team to ensure financial functionalities align with user needs.
• Assist the support team in analyzing and resolving functional issues reported through Salesforce.
• Ensure accurate financial documentation in collaboration with the documentation team.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting, and consolidation.
• Proficiency in functional testing, test case design, and defect tracking for financial applications.
• Experience in working with customer support teams to resolve functional issues.
• Ability to document findings, write test cases, and communicate technical challenges effectively.

Qualifications:

• Minimal 8+ Years of experience with 3+ years of experience with Finance background.
• Accounting qualifications – India CPA, ACCA, CIMA etc.
