Analyst – AR Billing

Position Overview

UnitedLex India Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Analyst – AR Billing to join our Finance team in Gurgaon. The role involves managing client billing processes, preparing invoices, monitoring e-billing progress, handling deductions, and ensuring billing functions are executed efficiently and accurately. This position provides an excellent opportunity to build expertise in the contract-to-cash cycle while working closely with project managers and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and bill attorney hours per contract specifications.

• Prepare and issue debit/credit memos, customer statements, and cancellations as needed.

• Monitor e-billing progress and track the status of billed invoices.

• Review pre-bills, identify insufficient entries, and request revisions.

• Revise and resubmit short-paid or rejected invoices.

• Follow up on delinquent payments and resolve billing concerns.

• Gather and organize supporting documentation for expense charges.

• Maintain updated master files with special billing instructions and customer contact information.

• Collaborate with accounting departments and project managers on billing-related tasks.

• Assist in providing audit materials as requested.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 0–2 years of experience in an AR Billing or similar finance role.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Knowledge of the contract-to-cash cycle.

• Good research and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to create dashboards/reports in Excel.
