Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations through invoice processing, account reconciliation, and month-end reporting. Key Responsibilities

• Process PO and Non-PO invoices accurately and on time.

• Reconcile vendor account statements and investigate discrepancies.

• Verify prices and quantities on invoices against purchase orders and delivery documents.

• Ensure proper approval workflow for Non-PO invoices per company policy.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and provisions.

• Prepare and assist with financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

• Coordinate with internal teams for purchase order creation and issue resolution.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

• Participate in process improvements and reporting automation initiatives.

• Accurately code and enter 700–800 invoices monthly.

• Perform additional administrative and financial tasks as assigned by management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance operations.

• Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP accounting standards.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).

• Ability to work under supervision while handling high-volume transactions efficiently.
