Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Assistant Manager to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of all payables, maintaining compliance with company policies, and supporting month-end closing procedures. You will play a critical role in maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring audit readiness, and upholding the Marriott International standards.
Key Responsibilities

Verify invoices received from Receiving Clerk against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in price and quantity.

Confirm invoice approval with appropriate department heads and executive signatures.

Prepare and maintain accounts payable vouchers, print checks, and organize all related supporting documentation.

Manage Cheque Register and Void Cheques Register for operational and audit purposes.

Stamp and file all invoices and supporting documents as “PAID.”

Balance petty cash in coordination with the General Cashier.

Maintain executive expense reports and reconcile outstanding cheques.

Prepare and issue vendor audit letters as per SOP annually.

Support monthly closing with Hotel Controller.

Maintain approved signature registers for invoice validation.

Ensure DAPCO Days are within Marriott standard.

Organize backup files for receivables separately.

Support other departments and promote a collaborative environment.

Maintain all required registers for audit and operational accuracy.
Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or general hotel finance operations.

Familiarity with hotel financial systems and SOPs (Marriott experience preferred).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
